Obituary

Pearl Justice, Jr. was born on June 28, 1930 to Pearl and Melissa Justice, Sr. As the elder of two siblings, he received his education in Denver Colorado, Wichita Falls, and Houston, Texas.  Following his education he enlisted in the United States Army and served during the Korean War.

Pearl and Arrementia were married in 1963 and celebrated 60 years of wedded bliss on November 12, 2023.  To this union, three children were born Quintin, Sanford, and Tara.  Pearl confessed his love for Christ and joined the Church of the Living God, Temple 18 in Houston, TX under the leadership of Bishop Ural F. Ware.  He loved working in the church and cherished praising the Lord. While attending the Church of the Living God, Pearl served as the Superintendent of the Sunday school and Men's Class Sunday School Teacher.  He was a member of the Deacon Board and worked on several committees including the Usher Board and Finance Committee where he was the Assistant Church Treasurer.  Later in life he moved his membership to The Silverlake Church in Pearland, TX under the leadership of Reginald DeVaugn Sr., where he attended until his death.

Pearl was employed with the United States Postal Service before retiring after 42 years of service. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and mentor.  He loved to read the bible, spend time with his family and being a self-appointed neighborhood protector.

Pearl was a loving and strong man of God, who never met a stranger.  He enjoyed helping others and being a servant of the Lord.  He always quoted in his favorite scripture, Proverbs 3:5-6 and told everybody to trust in the Lord.

On December 23, 2023, Pearl transitioned from this earthly life and went home to be with the Lord.  He is preceded in death by his mother Melissa Justice and father Pearl Justice, Sr.

His life legacy will forever be cherished by his wife, Arrementia, his sons, Quintin Justice Sr. and Sanford Justice; his daughter, Tara Justice: his grandchildren Schree Loston, Quinecha Deason (Andrew), and Quintin Justice Jr; his great-grandchildren ShaNyah Swift, Autumn Justice, Aiden Deason, and Justice Deason; brother Thomas Justice; God children Erica Jones, and Kennedy Stewart, the Honey Girls (Hailey Vaval, Alyssa Robinson, Hayden Vaval, and Sidney Stewart); sister-in-laws Bertha Foster (Mose), and Elizabeth Haynes, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
