Pearlie Mae Rush was the second born of three children to the union of William Garner Sr. and Mary Coleman on June 29, 1949 in Alto, Louisiana.
Pearlie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized into Hopewell Baptist. Upon moving to Texas was fellowshipping with Mt. Paran Missionary Baptist under the Dr. W. W. Jackson.
Pearlie received education with Alto School District and Surgical Tech School.
Pearlie was blessed with one daughter, April Rance whom she loved dearly. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt.
Her employment included Texas City Day Care , Gulf Healthcare , Ashton Park Nursing and Bayou Park all nursing homes.
Pearlie departed this life on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, received by husband, James Rush, Jr.; parents, William Garner Sr. and Mary Coleman; brothers, William Garner Jr. Timothy Pittman and Micheal Garner; sister, Hazel Rodgers (Lugene Sr.) Jeanette and Caroline; niece, Janie Rodgers and nephew, Hillard Patrick Crump, Jr.
Special memories of Pearlie will be cherished by family and friends she leaves to mourn daughter, April Rance ( Andre); grandchildren, Damond Mitchell (Keke), Samantha Mitchell , Mario Mitchell {Ananda}, Treyana Gardner , Drevon Morris, Jerlexus Gardner, Alyiah Gardner and London Gardner; 6 great grandbabies, Aniyah Mitchell, Ayanna Mitchell, Azariah Mitchell Amariah Mitchell, Zy'aire Putman and Zarien Putman all of Houston TX; one brother, Gregory Garner; 3 sisters, Paulette Garner Patrica Helier and Brenda Pittman all of New Orleans; 2 Godsister, Barbara Bell and Brenda Jones all of Monroe Louisiana; special nephews and niece, Samuel of Texas City, Princess Crump {Patrick) of Houston, Oliver Rodgers {Ran}, Rodriquez Rodgers , Buffe Rodgers , Mary Garner and Lugene Rodgers Jr. {Ann) all of Monroe Louisiana and a host of family and friends.
