Renee Eileen Dalton Daniels was born to Gladys and Clifford Dawson on July 3,1957 in Bridgeport Conn. Gladys married Quincy Alphonza Dalton in 1975 and Adopted Renee's as his own.

She attended Blessed Sacrament Elementary School and Graduated from Cathedral Girls High School. From there she attended Virginia State University and received her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.

In 1981 She moved to Houston Tx. And united with Saint Agnes Missionary Baptist Church. Under the leadership of Dr. Gene A. Moore Sr. she received Christ as her Savior and Lord and became a Christian Guidance Counselor. Renee also served as a teacher and later became the Principal of the St. Agnes Christian Academy. In April of 1988 Renee met and married Gerald Dwayne Daniels. From this union two children were born. Gerald Dwayne Daniels II and Lisa Renee Daniels. Upon following her husband, she united with the Garden of Gethsemane Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Richard E. Daniels. Where she served in the youth ministry as a Youth Matron and in the Deaconess and Ministers Wives Ministry.

She later continued her teaching career as a teacher at Briargate Elementary School and Christian Bible Academy. She retired her teaching career and went to work for the state of Texas as a childcare licensing representative for 8 years until her health declined. Gerald and Renee in 2014 returned to her home church where Renee became a part of the woman's ministry and the pastoral care ministry. At St. Agnes she was better know as "First Lady" because of her sharp style of dress most notably for her fancy hats. She was particularly organized, very graceful and soft spoken. Renee is preceded in death by her Parents Gladys and Clifford Dawson and Quincy Alphonza Dalton. Father In-Law Pastor R. E. Daniels and one sister Diane Tarver, Brother In-Law Edward Jerome Daniels. Her Aunts and Uncles Margie, Lois, Howard, John, Cassell, Lucille, Hazel and Nannette and John Tenn

Leaving to cherish the memories of her life: Her husband of 36 years Gerald Dwayne Daniels and her two children Gerald Dwayne Daniels II (Vivian), Lisa Renee' Daniels. Three grandchildren Kasey Martin, Eden and Issachar Daniels.

Mother In-Law Melvina Daniels Brother, Bruce Dalton (Jackie), Sister Brenda Dalton Williams (Darnell) and In-Law Douglas Tarver In-Laws: Pastor Robert E. Daniels Sr. (Pam), Carol Daniels, Rhonda Coleman (Ray), and Her dear friend Dawn Williams. God Son Terrance Scott.
