Rhoda was born on September 4, 1954 to Mary and Alfred Moore.  She was a devoted Mother, Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Friend, and Neighbor.

Rhoda graduated from Jack Yates Senior High School in 1973 and went on to Texas Southern University and Massey Business School. She retired from Cigna Insurance Company where she gained a loving group of lifelong friends. She spent the first years of her retirement dedicated to caring for daughter, Chelis and lovingly spoiling her Mother.  She was a committed member of Trinity Missionary Baptist Church where she served as an Usher.  She traveled the world with family and friends every opportunity she had.

We take comfort that she was united with her Mother, Grand Mother, two of her children-Chelis and Jerone, her brother (and travel buddy) Dexter, and Aunt Freddie Jewel at the completion of her Earthly journey.

She leaves to cherish and protect her memory Calvin and LaShon Harris-Bates, Cammilla Collins, Robin Moore, and Herman and Kimberly Harris-McConico.  Inherited Grandchildren Makenize, Mason, and Marshawn will have amazing core memories of adventures to many different places simply because she enjoyed spending time with them.  Her favorite cousin, JoRetta Frances will their long talks and occasional sleep overs.

12 Nieces and Nephews, 19 Great Nieces and Nephews, a host of cousins,  devoted friends, and neighbors.
