We gather here today to remember and honor the life of Rita Williams, a truly remarkable soul. Rita was born on September 17, 1964, in Houston, Texas, to her loving parents, Willie Eugene Bolden Sr. and Peggy Joyce (Edwards) Bolden. She embarked on a journey that touched the hearts of many.
Rita's educational journey led her to graduate from Worthing Senior High School, Class of '83. She pursued her passion for knowledge, obtaining an associate degree in information technology.
Her career path was diverse and meaningful. Rita dedicated ten years of her life to MD Anderson, before taking a brave step into the entrepreneurial world. She established her own consignment shop, "Treazures," where she offered slightly used designer bags and clothing, nestled in Hiram Clark. Rita's entrepreneurial spirit shined brightly. She also extended her care and compassion to the healthcare field, providing home health care to numerous families. Rita concluded her professional journey with ten years of service at Memorial Hermann Hospital, specializing in administration.
What truly defined Rita was her unwavering faith. She was baptized as a young girl but after gaining a new and clear understanding of christ she recommitted her life to Jesus Christ and was baptized again in her late 30's. Rita was a devout Christian, living each day in the service of God, leaving an indelible mark of love and faith in everything she did.

Rita was known for her honesty, fairness, and the ability to speak her mind without judgment. She was a responsible, nurturing, and humorous presence in the lives of those she touched. Rita had a unique way of showing love to everyone she encountered, and her magnetic personality made it impossible not to love her in return.
Rita Williams was not just a remarkable woman, but a beautiful soul, deeply cherished by her friends and family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be dearly missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
At her side for 26 years was her loving husband, Walter Williams, who shared in the joys and challenges of life with her. Rita was a loving mother to three children: Curtis Deandre Bolden (Narocka), Burton Anthony Lecour III, and Destini Ann Williams. Her role as a grandmother brought immense joy to her heart, and she leaves behind a precious legacy through her grandchildren: Curtis Xavier Bolden, Burton Michael Anthony Lecour, Cayse Danielle Bolden, Carter Deandre Bolden, Jamerson Lecour, and Jaxon Lecour.
Rita's family ties run deep, and she was born as the sixth of six siblings, all of whom shared a special bond: Willie Eugene Bolden, Sheila Joyce Bolden, Lily Ann Wolford (Terry Wolford), Sherry Denise Taylor, and Rondy Bolden. Rita was also cherished by her
