THE EPITOME OF LIFE Ruby M. Cooper was born in Leona, Texas on April 24, 1924 to George and Ada Washington. She went to School in Middle Branch Leona, Texas. She met and married her first love Ralph {RG) Cooper. In 1941 Ruby relocated to Houston and joined Sloan Methodist Church. In 1953 she and her children joined Trinity United Methodist Church where she remained a faithful member for sixty-one years. Ruby's greatest joy was to serve others; and realized as a child of God, we must minister to our brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Communion Ministry until her health deteriorated. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents Ada and George Washington. Ten siblings and one son; Jerry Cooper. She leaves to cherish her memory, five children; Ada Judge, Ralph Cooper (Irma), Vesta Hall (Willie), Charles Cooper (Joyce) and Carolyn Arrington; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 9 great- great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews ,friends and relatives.
