Sabrina Louise Ferrell was born in Houston, TX, the youngest child of Julius Ferrell (Bryan, TX) and Louise Clayton (Sirls) (Longview, TX). She resided in Missouri City, TX until her death.
Sabrina attended schools in HISD and worked at Nalco Chemical Company in Sugar Land, TX. She was proud of her time at Nalco. She began as a security guard and moved to a plant operator and then lab technician until her diagnosis of Lupus caused her to retire in the early 2000's.
Sabrina was the youngest of seven siblings and was affectionately called "BB" or "Bee" by her family and close friends. She cherished her family and was beloved by all her siblings. She could be counted on to host numerous family and holiday gatherings. She was a great cook and loved to make peach cobbler for special occasions.
Sabrina had four children; Anthony Ferrell, Marcus Ferrell, Deven Ferrell, and Dr. Rachel Robinson Scott, and three grandchildren; Dej'a Marvelly, Jaiden Hunter, and Dylan Hunter. She loved her children and took great pride in providing for them. She shared a special bond with Marcus who suffered a brain injury as a teenager and cared for him until his death in 2022.
Sabrina was a favorite aunt whom they all called "Aunt B." She never hesitated to help or open her home to any of her nieces and nephews when called upon.
Sabrina was a strong woman of God and loyal church member. She joined New Mt Olive MBC in Sunnyside, TX in the late 1980s under Rev. W. R. Cooper Jr. until his retirement. She then became a member of Gideon MBC under Rev. James Grant. She loved to testify in church and never missed an opportunity to tell of the Goodness of God.
Sabrina had a giving spirit and brought joy and laughter to those who knew and loved her. She was creative and had a sense of humor. She had great style, and a vibrant, lively, and witty personality. She was the life of the party. She enjoyed watching comedies and listening to music. She leaves her family and friends with an abundance of cherished memories.
Sabrina is preceded in death by her parents Julius Ferrell and Louise Clayton (Sirls); her siblings, Lois Miller, Debra Wright, Sandra Faye Davis, and Dennis Ferrell; her son Marcus Louis Ferrell and great niece Ashley Ferrell.
Sabrina leaves to cherish her memories: her brothers, Ralph Hawkins Jr. and Kenneth Hawkins Sr.; her children, Anthony Ray Ferrell, Deven Ferell, and Rachel Robinson Scott, MD (Don); her grandchildren, Dej'a Marvelly, Jaiden Hunter and Dylan Hunter; her nieces and nephews, Michael Hawkins (Rita), Cynthia Hawkins, Sharon Wymon, Ronnie Hawkins, Ralph T. Hawkins., Angela Simon (Kenneth), Andrea Wright, Robert Wright, Rhonda Pullium, Kenneth Hawkins Jr., Nancy Hawkins, Salinda Artis (Curtis), Jemal Davis (Jamey), Jonah Davis (Kristi), Shawn Nickerson (Arthur), Shavon Barras (John), Taurrence Ferrell, Derrick Ferrell and Danel Grays. A host of great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, church members and close friends.
