Shelia Faye Porter, age 62, was born January 7, 1963 to James Porter and Wanda Walls. Shelia was born in Warren, Arkansas but spent her life in Houston, Texas and graduated from Wheatley High School.

She met her husband Terry in 1981 and joined HPD in 1986, where she rose in rank during her 20 year tenure. She was Senior Officer when she retired. When she became a grandmother, she was absolutely thrilled about her growing family. She said her grand-daughter was the light of her life.

Shelia left this world on April 19th, 2025. In her free time, she loved bike rides by the lake and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family who adore her with all their hearts. Shelia is survived by her husband, Terry Williams, two sons Brenton and Braydan Williams, granddaughter Arya Williams, all of her family in Houston, Arkansas, and Chicago
