On October 5, 1939, heaven sent an angel to John and Mary Broussard.  Her name was Shirley Ann.  There were three other children born to this union before Shirley Ann.  Joseph Wilbert, Lula Mae, and Rose Marie.  Shirley Ann Was born here in Houston, Texas.  She received Christ at an early age and united with Saint Francis Xaviere Church where she was a member.  Her love for her church was demonstrated in the story she often shared with all of us.  Shirley Ann was exceptionally talented in drawings and fashion.   She had several sketchbooks where she would draw original designs of fashions for both women and men.  She had hoped to one day be a fashion designer.  Shirley Ann met and later married Mr. Eddie Johnson.  To this union was born one a very handsome little boy, Christopher Mike Johnson (deceased).  Sherley Ann was a homemaker and loved life.   She loved drawing fashion, attending church, baking delicious cookies, cakes and fig pies, she also enjoyed spending quality time with her son, and a host of nieces and nephews.  She worked for more than 20 years at the once famously known Wyatt's Cafeteria located at 4423 Griggs Road and retired at the age of 65.  She leaves to cherish her heavenly journey to nieces and nephews, Belinda Ann Broussard-Charles, Clinton Gerard Broussard, Monica Faye Frazier-Henderson, Mary Annette Frazier, Marcus Earl Willis, and Harvey Lord Willis; cousins, Virgie and Gilbert Mires (deceased); cousin, Tracy and archie Knighton, cousin Judy Mire, Mary Ann Charles (Joseph) Ben and Delores "DeeDee" Catalon, Joyce, Vincent Rachel (deceased), and a host of other relatives, family, and friends.  A Very Special Thank You to Cousin Maxwell "Mack" Willis for all that he did for our beloved Aunt Shirley Ann Jonson.
