On April 22, 1975 a beautiful baby girl graced this earth in the form of Tawana Josey. She was born to the proud and loving parents Joyce Blakely and Charles Blakley in Houston, TX.

She attended public school, then graduated from James Madison High School.

She accepted Christ at the age of 9 years old at St. JMBC under the leadership of Pastor Adam Daniels.

Tawana then met Otis James Francis to this union a baby boy was born, Darius James Francis.

In 2001, she later met and married Roland Cain and to this union came a beautiful baby girl named Ja"Keria Cain.

As Tawana continued to live her life, she met a great and special friend, the love of her life Harold Taylor.

Tawana was employed by Wendy's as a General Manager. She enjoyed dressing, loved music, and spending precious time entertaining friends and family.

Tawana is preceded in death by her father, Charles Blakely, Jr., her grandparents Melinda McCoy, John McCoy, Charles Blakely, Sr., and Lucille Blakley.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her mother Joyce Blakely; her son, Darius Fracnis; her daughter, Ja'Keria Cain; three grandchildren, Lenoxx Francis, Deauxx Lopez, and Hendrixx Francis; two sisters, Kiundra Allen (Brandon) and Jazzmien Kannike (Yinka); once niece Kaitlyn Allen and nephew Black Allen; six aunts; four uncles; two godchildren; great-aunt Marie Banks, a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
