Theodore "Bubba" Scott
July 21, 1951 – July 17, 2026
Born on July 21, 1951, in Houston, Texas, to John Scott and Adel Scott, Theodore was affectionately known to family and friends as "Bubba." He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, relative, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family touched countless lives.
On January 30, 1971, Theodore married the love of his life, Margaret Ann Hill. Together they built a family rooted in love, faith, resilience, and commitment. Through more than five decades of marriage, they created a lasting legacy that continues through their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many lives they influenced. Theodore was a family man at heart who found his greatest joy in spending time with those he loved. His wisdom, humor, and steadfast presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Margaret Ann Scott; his children Monica Gillie, Theodore Scott, Melvin Scott, and Kesia Brown-Kemper; and his cherished grandchildren Ronnie Lewis, Ronnieka Lewis, Roderick Phelps, Michrist Berry, William Perry, Jessica Ware, Theodore Scott III, Christopher Scott, Melvin Scott Jr., Melanie Scott, Malik Scott, Di”oshina Cadoree, and Kedereon Brown. In addition to his children and grandchildren, Theodore was blessed with a plethora of great-grandchildren who brought immense joy, laughter, and pride to his life. He treasured every moment spent with his family and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through future generations.
Theodore also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, lifelong friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit, love, and influence will remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
