Venora Geraldine Reed was born on July 23, 1940, in Naches, Texas to Abram and Cassie Brown.  She was the proud sister of three siblings, Garland Brown and her sisters Velzoria Green and Vergie Tutt.

She spent her childhood in Palestine, Texas, before moving to Houston with her usband, Johny Lloyd Reed, where they raised two daughters, Darlene and Tammy Reed.

Venora embodied strength, resilience, and unwavering commitment ot her family.  Throughout her life she carried herself with grace and determination, continually striving to provide, protect, and guide her loved ones.  Family was the core of her being, and she devotd herself entirely to being nurturing mother and a steadfast support in her children's lives.

She found joy in cooking, crafting, traveling, and spending quality time with her sisters and cousins.

Though she has left this world, her memory remains alive in the hearts of all who loved and cherished her.  She is now reunited in spirit with her parents Abram and Cassie Brown, her brother Garland Brown, and her granddaughter, Tabitha Robinson.

Venora is survived by her sisters, Velzoria Green and Virgie Tutt, her daughters, Darlene Reed and tammy Robinson and Milford Ellis, and her grandchildren, Kamille Reed, Renicia and Renicia and Nuru witherspooon, Ariel Whitfield and Johathan York.

Additionally, her great grandchildren include, Jalen, Joshua, Jada, and Jayden Nuru, Sydney, Nariah, Legend, Mackenzie and Alexandria, Kendra, Kwame, and Kevion, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Her legacy will forever be cherished.  May her sould rest in eternal peace nd may we always carry the love and faith she bestowed upon us.
