Ms. Waldine Cole, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on January 1, 2026, in Houston, Texas.  She was 81 years old.

Born, October 17,.1944, in Kinder, LA.  Waldine was the daughter of Alison and Ethel Cole.  She grew up in Kinder, LA.  In her early years she was baptized at Greater First Baptist Church.  She attended Kinder High School where she played basketball.  Waldine loved to cook, dance, singing, and being the life of the party.

She leaves to cherish loving memories her children, Michael Botley (Wanda), of Dallas, TX, Eric Botley, Sr., (Linda), and Cassandra Lockett (Kenneth) of Houston, TX.  Grandchildren, Lyngettea Botley, Crystal Robertson (Kenneth), Danielle Botley, Danny Botley (Vicky), Eric Botley, Jr., Timothy Botley, Sr., Quinton Botley, Quinton Larry, Marquan Botley (Allie), Miko Botley, Marquita Nelson.  Twenty-five great grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one brother, Russell Cole, Sr., (Teresa); one sister, Josephine Frank.

Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Waldine was preceded in death by her parents, Alison and Ethel Cole; son, Timothy Botley, Sr., great granddaughter, Mintez Dani Lee Botley; sisters, Juanita Williams, and Linda Johnson.
