Walter Lee Hall

Walter Lee Hall was born November 23rd, 1944, in Yokum, Texas to Willie and Mrytle Hall, both deceased. Walter was very intelligent, excelling at Asbury High School, where he graduated as Valedictorian of the class of 1963. From there, he attended Paul Quinn College for a short time before embarking on his journey as a Forklift Mechanic. In May of 1994, Walter married Barbara Hall. They enjoyed 35 wonderful years together, making a hobby of traveling to different states, where Walter enjoyed stopping at historical sites to see memorials and read up on events that occurred throughout time.

Walter was passionate about family, especially his baby girl. He loved being the life of the party and always knew someone just about everywhere he went. He always kept his cowboy boots and hat ready, because though he made his home here in Houston with his family, the country was always with him in his heart.

Walter leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Babara Hall, his children, Randy Hall, Stacye Hall, Walter Hall Jr., Tomlynn Johnson (Stepdaughter), Toshara Johnson (Stepdaughter), Eboni Washington, and Essence Hall. Walter also leaves behind his brothers and sisters, Willie Hall Jr., Charles Hall (Wife - Ruby), James Hall (Wife – Helen), Doris Hall, Paul Hall, Marilyn Hall, and sister-in-law Mattie Hall. Walter was preceded in death by the third oldest sibling, Eugene Hall. Walterr also leaves behind to cherish his memories a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
