Willie Edward Williams was born February 19, 1936 to the union of Eldori and James "Bud" Williams. Willie was preceded in life by his six sister Naomi Williams, Pauline Anderson, Elnora Frazier, Ruth Johnson, Helen Solomon and Lorraine Williams. Willie was a Houston native. He attended Jack Yates where he ran track and later graduated.

Knows a "Mr. Bill" he resided in Acres Home as a butcher for a meat market and drove for the Acres Home Cab Company for many years. He worked for the Astrodome as a vendor. On February 15. 1958 he married Audrey Mae Broussard, they had three children, Zeloria Elaine Kevi Edward (preceded in death), and Raynolda Williams.

He leaves to mourn grandchildren, Shayla Williams Golden, Corey Daniels, and Skylar Williams; great-grandchildren, Phadera Whitehurst, Aniyah Mitchell, Jay'don, D'ay'Drion, and Nevaeh Daniels, great- great grandson, Jamari Golden-Collins as well as a host of great nieces and nephews.
