Floyd Oscar
Jr.
Sep 7, 1973 — Jul 11, 2017
Floyd Oscar Jr. "Big O" entered into this world surrounded by love and joy on September 7, 1973 to the blessed and proud parents Mary Helen and Floyd (Lucky) Oscar, Sr. From the day he was born, he was a delight to his parents and his family. With a heart full of lover and compassion, he went from person to person making a big impact on them.
Floyd lost his dad at an early age and felt it was his duty to take care of his mother and sisters. He did just that and more. He was a protector, friend, and confidant to his sisters. He grew up in Houston, Texas and attended Houston Independent School District schools.
If you ever needed anything, you could always depend on Big O. He never met a stranger. He had such a big heart. Most people are fond of his great stories. Big O could have you spellbound with the telling of all of his adventures. Everyone loved hearing every word he said. He was known and loved by many. God reached the right person, at the right time.
God blessed us with someone so wonderful and loving. He will be sorely missed. He was a joy to all of us. Forever in our hearts we will keep him. Floyd was preceded in death by his father Floyd Oscar, Sr., maternal grandparents, Bertha and Julius Jenkins , paternal grandparents, Hazel Oscar and Dalton J ones and nephew, Terrell St. Julien.
Family was the world to Floyd. They meant everything to him and he meant everything to them. It is with grieving hearts he leaves behind his legacy to the following survivors: mother, Mary Helen Ford; stepfather, Joe Ford; children, Floyd Comeaux, De'Floyd Oscar, Tyreka Robinson and Colby Oscar, three grandchildren, Tramelle, Ralen, and Rasia; sisters, Drusilla, Danette, Natalie, Tanya (Tony), Dr. Edward Singleton; special friend Kris Dealt and a host o0f nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
