Dontrell De'Shawn Kelly, also known as, "King D" graced the earth with his presence on July 21, 1984, in Houston, Texas. The son of Darlene and Alex Williams and Milton and Fran Russaw, Jr. He attended Turner Elementary, Welch Middle, and Willowrigde High Schools. He later furthered his education at Texas Southern University, where he found his creativity and love for music. After leaving Texas Southern University, Dontrell built his own musical empire promoting the creation of "King D" the musical rapper. Psalms 121: 1 - I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth On Thursday, April 24, 2014, Dontrell was carried away on the wings of faith. Those that went before him and await his arrival on the other side are, his grandparents, Willie L. Valliere and Rev. Johnny Kelly; god-mother, Della Nickerson (Dee Dee.) Left to cherish his precious memories are his three sons, Deshawn, Nicholas and Dontrell, Jr.; two brothers, Keonte, Milton, Jr. and Mileke; four sisters, MyYeshia (Kelvin,) Mischika, Myquandria and Ashlyn; special brother Randall Hicks; grandparents, Rev. Milton, Sr. and wife, Mary Russaw; godparents, Tonya Swanson and Reginald Cash, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
