Anthony Jerome Johnson was born to Stephanie Gail Johnson and Lorne Strait, on August 14, 1982, in Houston Texas.

Anthony Jerome received his formal education from the Houston Independent School District, where he graduated from Evan Edward Worthing High School. While attending Worthing, Anthony played on the elite tennis team. After graduation he furthered his educational studies at Texas Southern University.

As a demonstration of his love and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, he joined Bible Refuge Temple under the leadership of Pastor Bonnie Green.

Anthony Jerome was a hard worker and provider. He worked at Mattress Firm for 10 years, and during that time, held variety of roles. He most recently served as a Staff Accountant, often working weekends to ensure that his coworkers were well supported.

Anthony was a family man and loved to have a good time. He was known for having a big smile. You rarely saw him without a smile on his face. He loved making others smile and laugh. A guy of a few words but all held true. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobbie Renee Johnson, and Willie Herbert Johnson, and his sister, Amber Strait.

Anthony Jerome leaves to cherish his memory, his parents Stephanie Gail Johnson and Lorne Strait. His brothers Micheal Bates (Chantel Pearl), Kevin Johnson (Irris Johnson), Christopher Guy, and Jordon Strait. His sisters Breanna Strait, Candice Garner, Essence Johnson, and Jasmine Strait. Anthony never had children of his own but was a father figure to his 3 nephews Aubrey Johnson, Asher Johnson, and Nova Guy. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to cherish fond memories.
