DeLaunte Maxie was born in Houston, Tx on August 2, 1990, to DeAnthany Maxie and Sheryl Banks. He grew up on the SW side. He attended primary school in HISD and received his diploma from Marque Learning Center in 2009. He gave his life to Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Dr. Gusta Booker at Greater St Matthew Church.

As he matured into a young man DeLaunte was employed at Game Stop for his first job. He also worked at Walmart for a very short time. He was proud of his jobs. Then he transitioned over into security work like his father. He remained in that line of work with different companies until his death. During his teenage years in 2007 he was blessed with a beautiful daughter Daelyn Zaniah. Later, in 2010 he met Rachel Charles. They had 2 beautiful daughters Deja Marie- Nicole and DeOnna Jinelle-Rose.

He really loved spending time with his family at home. He loved playing his video games, watching cartoons, spending time with daughters at the park, painting their toenails, watching movies, old school cars, and also listening to chopped and screwed music. He had a funny and goofy personality and those close to him really got to experience that.

He loved to eat Rachel's carribean style food, wings, noodles, bbq, steak, seafood, chocolate, peanut butter & jelly, and also bacon & eggs.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories: Father DeAnthany Maxie, Mother Sheryl Spears (Robert), Common-Law Wife Rachel Charles, Daughters: Daelyn Maxie, DeOnna Maxie, Deja Charles, and Deaira Robicheaux. Also Maternal Siblings: Robbin (Shawn) DeNae (Jonathan), Robert Jr. Paternal Siblings: DeAnthany, DeJuan (Tina), DeRaymond (Tiffany), Alycia, Verna (James). A special niece who was like a sister, Te'kyl. Maternal Grandmother, Cherrie Williams, Paternal Grandparents Maxie and Nancy Allen. Maternal Uncle Gayle \Banks. Paternal Uncle Joe Davis, Paternal Aunts: Cassandra, Claudette (Fredrick), Melanie, Pamela, Amandalyn. Also his (Common) Mother in law Gennifer Charles
& (Common) Father in law Lewis Charles, (Common) Brother & Sister in law Jason & Ashley Charles. And a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. He also leaves behind his best friend Dominique Hall ( Fat Juice)
