Regina Anderson was born on July 5, 1946 to the late Edward and Thelma Brown number seven of eighteen children.  She accepted Christ at an early age at Saint Luke Baptist Church.  Regina was educated at J. S. Clark Leadership Academy in Opelousas, Louisiana.

Regina in preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Edward Brown Sr., her son Marvin G. Anderson, four brothers Roosevelt Brown, Edward Brown, Jr., Ezekiel Brown and Ozemae Brown: 6 sisters, Lenell Brown Angelle, Edolia Brown Collins, Rnell Brown Babineaux, Elzina Brown Tademy Smith and Geraldine Thomas Henry.

As a young adult Regina met, loved, and married Junius Anderson on November 7, 1964.  To this union two children were born: the late Marvin G. Anderson and Bridget C. Anderson.

Regina was employed by the Coca-Cola bottling company for 33 years until she retired on January 5, 2006.

Regina was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.  Her smile would light up a room and her laughter would stay with you until you were in her presence again.

Regina was a faithful member of Christian Faith Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Leroy Joseph until her ascension into heaven.  She was a devoted choir member who offered rides to whomever needed and/or wanted to attend service.

She leaves to live in her loving memory two daughters: Bridget C. Anderson and Velma (Kenneth) Jones both of Houston, Texas; five brothers Herbert Brown, Robert Brown and Stevenson Brown of Houston, Texas and Abraham Brown and Daniel Tate of Opelousas, Louisiana, four grandchildren, Kobyachi Flowers, Jr., Shawanna Reed, Anthony Reed and Kenneth Jones, Jr.; three great grandchildren, Jarel Reed, Ahmad Reed and Kevin Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
